We will work with you to get the kind of flag you need.  Although there is no minimum order, this method of producing flags becomes VERY cost effective when ordering 10 flags or more.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:

We follow a fairly standard set of criteria used by many screen and digital printing companies in the flag industry.  You may submit artwork to us as follows:

The files must be sent in PC Format.

Following programs can be used:

1. Corel Draw

2. Adobe Photoshop

3. Adobe Illustrator

4. Freehand

For spot color design: We will need vector based files (eps)

Please do not use closed EPS files

Colors should be defined according to the Pantone Matching System (Coated or Uncoated)

For 4 color process screen printed designs: Picture images must have a resolution of 300 dpi and scale of 1:10, with an additional 10% of picture for finishing

For Digital Printing: Vector graphics must be scaled to 1:10, with 10% additional for finishing

Stroke Strength: To avoid unclear or blurred images please observe a minimum line strength of 0.04" (1mm) and 0.08" (2mm) for inverse lines. To intensify the Serif fonts, a contour of the same color can be placed around the characters.

• DO YOU HAVE VECTOR ARTWORK READY?

• DO YOU WANT A SINGLE PLY OR DOUBLE  PLY FLAG?  (Double ply for those flags that must read correctly on the back - usually for words, if the customer insists)

• DOES YOUR DESIGN AVOID WORDS, AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE? (Good flag design does NOT use words - try reading words on a flapping flag mounted 50 feet above the ground! - see http://www.gideonflags.com/design.php for more information about design)

• PLEASE LET US KNOW THE PANTONE COLORS IN YOUR DESIGN

• PLEASE STATE THE SIZE OF THE FLAG YOU WANT IN YOUR REQUEST
